Trancoso

The paradisiacal haven that conquered the world

An ancient Jesuit village, Trancoso is part of the Descobrimento coast, It was rediscovered in the 70s by the so-called biribandos and Leila Sallum was one of the pioneers to arrive here. Known for some time as a hippie village, it has lost this connotation for years giving way to a new concept where comfort, simplicity, and luxury are in vogue. It is currently among the best holiday destinations and amidst its regulars, there are big national and international stars.

The soul of Trancoso is in the Quadrado Histórico, a charming place where we find the Church of Trancoso, one of the postcards of the area surrounded by colorful houses, making this place an open-air museum. On star-filled nights, it shines like a crib.

The beaches of the region are famous for their clear waters, fine sand, and paradisiacal airs.
